Bruschetta

I love cooking. Cooking is something I find relaxing and very accomplishing whether the finale was a hit or miss, buying the ingredients sometimes feels like buying a new pair of shirt or something that will make me really excited.

It just struck me to do Bruschettas today when I was in the gym and clearly I was excited to cook it immediately when I get home, so I cut my gym time today to a mere 1 hour 45 minutes when it could have taken a bit longer. Bruschettas are some of the terrific gastronomies I saw on the movie Julie & Julia and I was just having that adrenaline and other hormonal rush just to do them. So off I went to the groceries to get what I need.

It was a bit of a guessing game since I had no grocery list with me so I did my best to decipher what it takes to make incredible Bruschettas.

I picked...
French Bread - I had no other choice for a bread in a petit supermarket in Caloocan
Basil
Tomatoes
Olive Oil - at home
Garlic - at home
Salt - at home

I was eating the butt of the french bread in the jeepney (feeling European eating bread in the subway) as I was in transit to get home and it tasted like one of the worst french bread ever. I had doubts in the success of this gastronomy I was about to cook up but I also believed I can do something about it. It just costed me 47 Pesos for the whole stick of bread and I couldn't just complain about it.

Nevertheless, it was super, I loved these incredible Bruschettas. I would love to share it with you as well.

Bon app!
