With a huge cup of tea and feeling super, this is how I'll immortalize another terrific weekend.
I had no class last Wednesday since my teacher had to attend something somewhere. This didn't make me really happy, I mean I love attending my French classes. Especially these weekday classes, I always get to laugh out loud to the point of abdominal pain in class every class day and of course learn French. As well, I get a chance to flee this space where I am and I had a great week but the space where I am is just.... grrr not for me anymore. Not having that chance, excuse or mission to get out of my space here just well, doesn't do much great things.
Everytime I escape, I enter a world where I feel is just more accommodating to my drive to discover great stuff. My environment here is just not that ergonomic when it comes to supporting my ideas. I mean the mosquitoes, dust, heat, layout and other dynamics just takes me off that level of concentration to land on that learning curve or these stuff are too powerful that it burns me out of my psychology then my patience and spirit.
Friday. A mind comparable to a Pandora's box of buffet eat all you can servings of bad devils and frustrations. Though difficult, I just closed my eyes and imagined a weekend that will be awesome. And these imaginations included the following but I'm really happy how reality positively exceeded these...
Saturday Breakfast at McDonald's Buendia corner EDSA... I'm in love with this place in the morning so much that I could write a comulu nimbus swirls of clouds of spirits and emotions just being here every morning for breakfast before my 9am classes. Love and peace, that's what I feel. A morning where every time I will have a table of my own secluded from the chaos from outside, and a terrific breakfast always with a cup of warm coffee. Reading a book with a selection of music they play every morning that are superb that it just glides through my soul sometimes. Usually a lovely mix of rhythms and tones by Christian Bautista, Nina, and Regine Velasquez.
And yeah, I love how the crew here are incredibly friendly, I love it when they could just greet you and make you feel that the greeting was genuine.
5 hour Saturday classes are not as awesome as my weekday classes, but they're okay. Better than studying at home. After noon conversation classes can get really interesting sometimes. Though I just wish my professor wasn't that lazy. Well, sometimes it's up to us to give lazy people a good work out to make us feel great about the money we pay. Nonetheless, it was great.
The rest of the Saturday, I just planned to get lost in the crowd of a mall to get some things done then grab a coffee to read a book. But hey I got a massage instead of that coffee, which was great! Interesting how a place exists which kinda pictures in my mind between a hybrid of that sauna and a decent one. How awesome! Love this place!
After that was this great dinner. Hey Jamieson. Thanks . I really enjoyed that great Saturday afternoon/evening. From point A to point B, I really had a great time.
Off to Fort I go to stay for the night for an exciting first ever run. Prepared my running paraphernalia and off I went to hibernate.
Surprisingly no matter how tired I seemed to be, I couldn't sleep that night, I don't know why but I just kept waking up every hour. At 245am, I thought I was just hungry. So off I go to McDonald's Forbes drive for something to eat. Funny. There was quite a lot of people there dressed up, wasted people from embassy, had fun partying or something else. Kinda made me realize a time when I went there once. A moment where I felt a lot of people being really superficial. But hey sometimes that is what tastes great. The extra diamond we couldn't always buy everyday is that thing that makes a sparkle in our life. Moderation of course is advised. I'm not against it, and I believe it does great things for society. Just don't hurt and go bitchin' people and you're awesome.
And yeah, occasional stares from some party people. Yeah go look glammed, I'd love to dress all grungy and just woke up shorts no underwear messed up harassed look groggy eyes look in front of you. Whatchawant kid?
These thoughts just made my 1 pc. chicken mcdo with rice just incredibly better, it was like having that special someone else with me with that moment to share a thought. Then, again I tried my luck to be able to close my eyes and be one step closer to that great dream.
5am. Me and my brother went to the race, and before that, he prepared a simple breakfast even for me, aww sweet! sweet sweet sweet!
The race began, and the rest of the race was just great, just like what I imagined it to be. And now I accomplished my mission, and that is to understand what goes in the race and understand why people are liking these things to much lately. No longer a stranger to that awesome level of satisfaction. Given the right circumstances, I'd go for another one again. It was great. Awesome! And Gaga, Black Eyed Peas and Laurent Wolf beats were perfect!
So where were we? Oh yeah environment, I just get so much things done and learn and discover stuff when I'm outside my shelter. Comparing my sentiments pre and post weekend, there's just that feeling that makes me smile right now so much easily. There are so much mini-worlds out there that I'd love to see and a space out there thats accomodating.
I read from a book by jim collins, a person should reconcile with the space he is in to achieve success. I guess what he meant by reconcile is find peace, be comfortable and just have the environment have this mutualism relationship with you. If this is something to follow then I'm in a dilemma. Now I think if I should reconcile with the space I'm in, or modify it. To modify it into an ergonomic space suitable for reading, writing and discovering. Then again, Paris is a dwindling thought.
My tea is now cold.

always a pleasure to share a meal with a friend. even better to have some MIND BLOWING conversations :) i wanna try goin to mcdo in the wee ours of the morning one of these days... sadly, i doubt the crew nor the crowd in the places where i live will be as friendly. :)
